Message not be made in China. If you look at the end tanks adjacent to the air side fins, you'll notice a small triangular point next to the fins. From what I've seen, this is somewhat of a trademark of Niagara Thermal Products, who makes (among other items) vacuum brazed heat exchangers. I believe the triangular point is used to keep the fins away from the braze joint where it could wick away the braze alloy, creating leaks.

As far as I can tell from the poor photos, these knockoff ICs have this same feature. I've yet to see another set of ICs (other than the Massives) that have this feature. When AshSpec first posted about the new Massives, I noticed this feature and asked if had had Niagara manufacture the cores, but noone responded. I haven't seen another vacuum brazing house use this exact geometry on HC cores, so I'm inclined to think that Ash did have them made there (I could be completely wrong, so feel free to correct me if so), and then AMS had more made.

All this doesn't change the fact that it's yet another product to add to the list of knocked-off parts from AMS :/ Karma is an ugly bitch.

Just wanted to make note of that observation I made.
